Symphony For A Broken Orchestra
Over 400 musicians performed a new composition by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lang in Philadelphia on Dec 3rd. Symphony For Broken Instruments was commissioned by Temple Contemporary as part of an initiative for restoring and returning broken school instruments to the Philadelphia School system. Devin Greenwood and Arun Pandian recorded the piece and will be producing standard and 3D mixes for release next year. Hear excerpts of our recording--mixed at the Honey Jar by Devin Greenwood-- in the New York Times here.
